Classroom Website
Description: This training will focus on the elements to consider when creating a website. They will also be introduced to three website design tools: Weebly, Blogger and Google Sites. Each participant will select on of these tools and create their own classroom website.

Weebly - This website creator provides flexibility in your page layouts with a simple drag & drop system. Sign-up for an educators account at education.weebly.com. If you already have a Weebly account, you can go to the educator page, log in and convert to the education account. An education account is free, includes an assignment submission element, and allows the ability to create 40 student website accounts that you can monitor and make public or private.
Blogger - This blog creator tool connects directly to your Gmail account and other Google Apps, like Google Drive.
PicMonkey - This basic photo editor allows you to customize any photo with borders, stickers, overlays and text. When your photo is complete, name it and download it to your computer.
Pixlr Editor - This photo editor contains advanced photo editing features like red-eye, drawing and stamp tool. It is comparable to Photoshop.
Blogger - This blog creator tool connects directly to your Gmail account and other Google Apps, like Google Drive.
